About Katherine Cottrell

Program Management, Knowledge Strategy, Team Enablement, & Development:
Duke University graduate, current leader and Software Engineer III at ASML with experience delivering complex software solutions while leading initiatives to improve team performance, knowledge sharing, onboarding, and organizational effectiveness. Combining technical expertise with a passion for people, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

In addition to developing software for critical semiconductor systems, I have led onboarding programs for full-time hires, interns, and outsourced developers; coordinated cross-functional stakeholders across engineering disciplines; managed outsourcing operations; and built knowledge management ecosystems that enable teams to scale and succeed.

I thrive in environments where technical challenges intersect with strategy, communication, and execution. My experience includes Agile and Scrum leadership, project coordination, stakeholder management, process improvement, knowledge management, organizational initiatives, and team development. I enjoy bringing structure to complex problems, building alignment among diverse groups, and creating systems that help people do their best work.

My background includes software engineering, data science, project leadership, technical documentation, training, and community-building initiatives. Whether I am collaborating with engineers, mentoring new team members, coordinating large-scale programs, or driving operational improvements, I focus on delivering meaningful results while fostering a positive and productive team culture.

I am particularly interested in opportunities that leverage my strengths in leadership, project management, organizational strategy, and people development while maintaining a strong connection to technology and innovation.
